Midnight Sun Volleyball Club is the premier youth volleyball club in Anchorage, teaching advanced skills to prepare elementary, middle, high school, and collegiate volleyball players.

We strive to maximize every player's skill level and combine those players into the best possible teams they can be. We stress the development of fundamental technical skills, teamwork, and personal habits that lead to success in any walk of life.

Background

Virgil and Liz Hooe, along with many lifelong friends, started Midnight Sun Volleyball in 1984. Since then, MSVB has seen thousands of female athletes, beginners to advanced, from all over the state of Alaska.

Impact of our Club

MSVB has athletes ages 8-18 from all over our great state. Some of these places include Juneau, Valdez, Cordova, Kodiak, Anchorage, Wasilla, Palmer, Fairbanks, Nome, and Barrow. MSVB has produced 16 of the last 20 Gatorade Player of the Year, dozens of high school and collegiate All Americans in NCAA, NAIA, NWAC, and NJCAA. MSVB has also produced dozens of athletes who have gone past the collegiate level and into the international professional volleyball leagues.
